The Thrift Shop Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in daily operations to ensure the store runs smoothly and efficiently. This role assists with supervising staff and volunteers, helping manage schedules, supporting sales and cash handling procedures, maintaining inventory and merchandise displays, and providing excellent customer service. The Assistant Store Manager may open or close the store as needed, help coordinate donations, assist with special sales or events, and step in to lead operations in the Store Manager’s absence. Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a team-focused attitude are essential. If you’re organized, reliable, and enjoy working in a community-focused environment, we’d love to hear from you!
This is a paid role at $17/hour and works primarily during our open hours, with the occasional Monday or Friday as needed.

The Fort Drum Thrift Shop follows the Carthage school closing schedules, as well as Fort Drums delays. If either school is delayed or closed, the Thrift Shop will also be delayed or closed, as well.
